The sequel to the much-acclaimed and very funny Pitching Up!
The Woodsman pub and campsite is under new management, with new staff and improved facilities. The old gang, plus some additional characters, return by invitation to check it out, and the adventures begin: retaliating against marauding motorbikes in the middle of the night, enduring a bike tour to hell and back, watching Tel and Sophie jumping from a plane and witnessing Tel having some sort of nervous breakdown, fighting against the tyranny of Liv’s father and soon-to-be ex-husband, and almost losing a vastly expensive ring.
You can’t get much more memorable than a camping trip like this—perfect holiday listening.

fantastic!
Absolutely loved this series! proper laugh out loud! read the books first then downloaded audio books and characters came even more to life!

Funny with a twist
I loved the first in the series and often the second book fails to live up to the first. However, this book bucks the trend and picks up the story a year on bringing all the characters back as the group get into more hilarious scrapes with a great twist at the end. Definitely recommend and Lee Beddow does another brilliant job bringing the characters to life on Audible.

I haven't laughed so much at a book than this eye watering belly laughs.
well Lee for a fabulous job done.

Brilliant Again.
This second book in the Pitching Up series is an excellently funny listen. Not quite as amusing as the first one I thought but good all the same. Free Fall Parachuting will never be the same! LOL! Lee Beddow nailed the narration once again.

Love these silly characters!
I just want to be on a camp site with these guys!
Such a good easy listening romp with these characters. They are a pleasure to get to know and the narrator does the voices so well.
