About this listen

My name is Nilsa.

I am the last living Shadow.

Mate to six broken immortal pirates.

And now the world knows.

For centuries, the Eagle of Galmere has been butchering the other races to create the Mortal Cure, an elixir that gives her the illusion of immortality. The human queen’s obsession with living forever has crippled empires, maimed countless innocents, and enslaved hundreds more—including my men.

I'm the only one capable of ending her blood soaked reign, but what if the cost is far worse than we'd ever imagined?

This is a medium burn reverse harem novel intended for readers age 18 years and over. Book three of three in the Deadwood series.

A fitting end

I love Val. He's the best sassy a-hole in the series and I love his character arch. There was a good amount of spice and enjoyable moments with the story finishing and not dragging on. Long live the Queen!

Book 3 did not disappoint nilsa and her men return for the final show down and it was epic.
The rollercoaster of emotions gave me whiplash but boy was it worth it. Just brilliant!

Mr & Mrs Bordeaux …. Just wow, all the different voices were spectacular! Thank you for bringing them all to life

Great Conclusion to the series

This book did a great job at concluding the series, the writing was compelling and the story was engaging. I would've liked perhaps to go more into the complexities of the relationships, but overall it was a great book.

The narration was great, Bridget and Jake Bordeaux really know how to bring stories to life! Although, as a Scottish person, perhaps the Scottish accents could be worked on a tiny bit!
