Summary

A single-parent, second-chance romance from NYT and USA Today bestselling author A.L. Jackson

Izzy Lane was everything I never deserved.

Sweet and kind.

Beautiful in a way that stole my breath.

I started crawling through her window when I was just a boy to escape the brutality of my father.

She became my best friend.

My safe haven.

The girl I’d do anything to protect.

Only what she really needed protecting from was me.

I left town when Maxon Chambers broke my heart at seventeen.

For years, he refused my calls.

It devastated me even more when he pretended we’d never existed.

Thirteen years later, I’m back with the son he doesn’t know we share.

Now, he’s grown into a man I know I should resist, but who makes my knees weak.

Sexier than sin and more tempting than ever.

A detective on the Charleston force, he lives on the outside of safety, devoted to protecting the people of his city.

But with the way he’s looking at me now? I’m pretty sure what needs protecting is my heart.

Can we mend the pieces of us? Or will the danger that ruined our pasts steal the hope of our future…

”Endless” ❤️

This book is a beautiful second chance love story between two childhood sweethearts. There’s so much emotion in this story that I actually teard up every now and again. A.L. Jackson writes everything with such detail that some parts may feel a little drawn out, but not at all to the point that it would actually become boring.
Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt both do an amazing job bringing the story to life as Mack and Izzy. Special mention on how both of them did a perfect job in voicing Dillon and Benjamin as well.
