Summary
Kane Easton isn’t friend material.
He’s a master manipulator.
No one understands why I give him such a hard time.
They can’t see past his flawless exterior, but I know he’s keeping a secret—
something he’ll protect with absolute ruthlessness.
He thinks I’ll fall in line with the rest of Xavier High.
Believes he can kiss me into submission.
He has no idea what he’s up against.
I may be the youngest Genovese, but I’ve learned from my family.
I’ll make Kane regret the day he ever crossed my path.
Perfect Enemies is the sixth and final book in The Five Families series but can be listened to as a standalone novel.

I’m a Jill Ramsower fan!!
I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this audiobook! I lived the characters, which speaks to how well they are developed within the storyline! I was involved in the storyline from the beginning.. not wanting to stop listening once I started. And the narrators…. They were all very well chosen for their characters! They made the listening easy and interesting.
The mafia/cartel angle of the story made the friendship between Valentina and Rayna one you want to know more about. It made the book interesting and kept me listening. Add in Caine and Santino.. and it’s even better.
I recommend this book, and this author highly!!!

amazing!
I just LOVED this story! And it was so different to what I was expecting!
Val is the girl you want in your corner, she's loyal, she's sassy, she's not afraid to back you up even if you're in the wrong, but she'll also make it known that you've messed up while still fighting your corner. Her and Reyna's friendship was just beautiful and so much more than what it appeared from the outside
Kane, I really didn't want to like him, but he wormed his way under my skin and into my heart, his inner conflict is clear from the get go, the secrets he's living with - well I never would have guessed!
and the narration was SPOT ON! I'll definitely be listening to more from these 😍

Fantastic conclusion to an amazing series!
I can't believe this is the end of the series! This has been one of my favorite romantic suspense series and Jill Ramsower wraps it all up with a phenomenal ending. This story features Kane and Valentina, and their enemies to lovers story! Val is attracted to the newcomer, and though it's felt in spades, Kane pushes her away. Hurt and interested in why, she does a little research, and the results show us exactly what Val is made of. But not only is she taken with the handsome, broody man, she is also protecting Reyna from her dangerous father. She will go to any length to get her friend to safety, and little does she know she has help! Excitement, a little age-gap, steamy, dangerous, and the love of family all come to the culmination of this incredible series. I loved every minute of every book, and this conclusion is the perfect ending!
With a full cast of incredible narrators, this story was like a movie in my mind. Ava Erickson is Val, strong, smart and fearless, giving us a force to be reckoned with. Jacob Morgan is Kane, torn, conflicted and infatuated. emotion driven and on a mission. Gregory Salinas is Santino with eyes on one and eyes for one, melting our hearts with his sound. And new to me Melanie Mendez is Reyna, brave and resilient keeps her voice strong and steady. This cast of characters is fantastic and kept me on edge, falling in love, fearful and happy! Feeling all the emotions, I can't ask for more in a narration!

Amazing narration from Ava Erickson, Jacob Morgan, Gregory Salinas and Melanie Mendez. Just wow
We have enemies to lovers, fake identity, mafia. This is Kane and Valentina, and their enemies to lovers' story! This book is full of excitement, a little age-gap, steamy, dangerous. This is a thrilling ride. The story will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout.

A so so end to the Five Familiies series
The narration of Perfect Enemies flowed well with four narrators sharing the roles instead of the more customary two making this an enjoyable audiobook to listen to. Melanie Mendez especially, a new to me narrator, deserves a mention for her depiction of Reyna as she managed to impart her longing for the simple things that most girls take for granted.
And now onto the book itself. As the last book in the Five Families series it was a bit disappointing if I’m being completely honest and not as good as the previous books. I was expecting another mafia romance and I suppose it was considering it does involves the respective daughters of mafia and cartel bosses but I feel it was more aimed at a YA audience given the extremely slow burn nature of the romance side of things.. The concept of the overall story was good even though I did figure out Kane’s secret quite early on but for me it was let down by some of the characters namely Valentina who came across as being a bit too immature especially when she discovers the truth about Kane and Santino who manages to fall madly into insta-love with Reyna, a girl he’s barely spoken a handful of words to. By the end I was left feeling a bit let down by Perfect Enemies but hopefully this isn’t the last we hear of from the Genevase family especially now there’s a new member and I’m looking forward to possibly reading Connor’s story sometime in the future.

Great narration
Enjoyed this book but felt it was a bit of a teen romance All four characters were great narrators especially the males love their deep gravelly voices. Jill Ramsower brilliant author listened to all six books can't wait to listen to next series.
