About this listen
Everything has just changed, and Eric is surrounded by faces new and old.
Following straight on from the climactic events of Peas, Carrots and a Red Feather Boa, Eric Sibley faces a completely new landscape. As he struggles to come to terms with his new situation, he finds support and help in some of the most unlikely places.
With the family dynamics constantly shifting and dramatically altered, Eric must try and rebuild a life for all of them. In the face of overwhelming odds, he is determined to turn chaos into order.
Unfortunately, this is easier said than done...when the most unlikely new arrivals turn up in his household, some more welcome than others.
While this is easily the most emotional book in the series, it is also brimming with Hannah Lynn’s trademark wit and humor. Prepare to laugh and cry longer and louder than ever before when you listen to this third installment of the Peas and Carrots series.

Peas, carrots and six more feet
Love this series. Normally they fizzle out after books 1 and 2 but book 3 was just as good. Lots of laugh out loud moments
Love the narrator

Love, loss, guilt, friendship, hope and resilience
Following the tragic events of the previous instalment, Eric tries to come to terms with his new circumstances. Luckily he finds help and support in the most unlikely places. With the family dynamics now forever altered, Eric attempts to rise above the heartbreak and chaos and embrace his new situation. Unfortunately this is easier said than done when an unexpected visitor turns up on his doorstep, leading Eric to make a life changing decision..
Peas, Carrots and Six Feet More is the third instalment of the Peas and Carrots series and picks up immediately after the events of the previous book. I had just finished reading The Christmas Proposal, so Eric and Susie’s early years was fresh in my mind. I was therefore completely unprepared for the jaw dropping revelation at the beginning as I totally did not see it coming. I held my emotions in check until Eric saw Cynthia for the first time and then, like Eric, found myself becoming completely unravelled.
The character development has been exceptional throughout, each character showing real depth and substance. Eric has come such a long way since the opening chapters of the first book. I felt a myriad of emotions as Eric and Abi tried to deal with what the world had thrown at them. Yvette in particular proved to be a godsend and showed immense strength of character.
Love, loss, guilt, friendship, hope and resilience... This book deals with many of life’s challenges and tribulations. While this is easily the most emotional book of the series, it also brims with Hannah Lynn’s trademark humour and wit and had me smiling despite the tears. I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for Eric in the next instalment.
I received an advanced free audible copy of Peas, Carrots and Six More Feet and I am voluntarily reviewing it. Rafe Beckley has once again done an admirable job of bringing the story and characters to life with his clear and concise narration. He has fast become one of my favourite narrators.

Author and narrator make a talented team
I'd already read the book, and have listened to this audio version several times now while doing this and that, there's always something new that pops out at me. The characterisation is brilliant, both the writing and narration. I'm absolutely loving how Yvette's character is developing and taking on more and more juicy dimensions. Compared to the 2 previous more light-hearted books in the series, this story is raw and presents the dramatic events with an acute realism. But there are still the signature funny bits!
This is my honest and unbiased review after receiving a free audio code for this book.

I laughed. I cried.
I received this book via a free promo code and this is my voluntary review. This is continuing the journey of Eric Sibley and his allotment... it feels like visiting old friends in heartbreaking circumstances. Hannah Lynn expertly weaves a tale of a family man trying to pick up the pieces and push forward when the entire fabric of his life unravels.
Simply put... its a portrait of a family trying to learn how to breathe again. Emotionally this book puts you 10 rounds in a bull ring. Whether its a following Yvette's role in holding her son-in-law together and dealing with the consequences of her husbands infidelity, or Abi's challenging behavior at school or Eric dealing with his loss. Staying in one piece is this families priority. Everything in the pages ached as they limped along but the humor was still present.
I enjoyed it.
Rafe Beckley does an amazing job with his performance narrating this book.
