About this listen
Darcy is surprised that Elizabeth has won the friendship of his unusual sister, and he is shocked when he begins to fall for her as well.
Mr. Darcy feels guilty that he was not there to prevent Mr. Bingley from marrying Jane Bennet, who no doubt was only after his money. As to their upcoming stay at Pemberley, surely if he can tolerate Caroline Bingley, than he can tolerate Jane’s sister, Elizabeth, as well.
When the Bingleys and Elizabeth visit, Darcy's peculiar sister Georgiana finds Miss Bennet to be a delightful companion. As Elizabeth helps Darcy to understand and appreciate his sister, he realizes the handsome Miss Bennet is an admirable woman.
Caroline Bingley, Catherine de Bourgh, and George Wickham plot to achieve their own selfish goals. Even as these threats arise, love whispers to Elizabeth and Darcy to overcome their pride and prejudice.

Superb
This is one of my favourites; well written, interesting but not too fantastical plot, outstanding narration. Georgiana features heavily and her character is wonderful; she’s autistic and struggles enormously with the seemingly illogical demands of ‘polite society’ in a most endearing way. She is hence able to cut through Caroline Bingley’s insincerity and relishes Lizzie’s genuine friendship.

DELIGHTFUL story
I just LOVE this story.
I don't often leave reviews (and I have listened to 100's of P&P variations..i am a bit obsessed! .some wonderful! some ok and some I have deleted) but I wanted to say thank you to the author for coming up with this variation that captured my heart.
I love how though Georgiana sees things differently - beautifully actually, she is so loved and accepted by those near and dear to her. I have an autistic Grandson and could very much relate to her.
All the ones who strive to be unkind or cruel in anyway all paid a price some very high though I actually liked the ending for one of those as I am a believer of second chances. it's such a story of kindness, acceptance humour and of course romance!!
Needless to say Darcy (a very sensitive brother) and Elizabeth are wonderful and whilst central to it it includes all our old favourites. Colonel Fitwilliam ever his joyful self has a wonderful story along with cousin Anne D.
The Bennet's all had their stories too.
I have listened to it a few times and it's one of those good clean feel good stories.
sensatively written around Georgianna but encompasses much love and compassion.
I highly recommend this. I used the audible and Harry Frost brings the best out in all the characters. Just FAB!

Unusual and charming variation
This has a really original twist. Darcy never went to Netherfield, so he doesn't meet the Bennets until after Jane and Bingley's marriage. Georgiana is autistic but very cared for by her family. Miss Bingley and Wickham get their just deserts. I really enjoyed it. Harry Frost provides outstanding narration- I love his range of character voices.

Charming & easy going
Sometimes I listen when working so this was perfect as the story was sweet & easy to follow.
Loved the two epilogue chapters which managed to show a bright future for all the main characters.
Harry Frost was excellent as always.

A fab variation, beautifully narrated
Absolutely great variation - I loved the characters who felt so well drawn and reimagined in fresh ways - and they were brought to life wonderfully by Harry Frost - whose voice is sublime.

Too many anomalies
The characters all ask their god for guidance but condemn Wickham to be hanged without a second thought. Wickham is court martialled in absentia despite being in a nearby cell. His gaoler advises him of his execution by firing squad. It's sloppy.
