About this listen

Tori Hunter always worked solo, but in Samantha Kennedy, she found a partner, in more ways than one. Casey O'Connor isn't thrilled to learn that she has a new partner on the way. It's been hard enough to transition from working with live victims to dead ones. Now, Leslie Turner is going to slow down the process.

Professional duty trumps personal issues as the detectives focus on their latest case, a killer whose choice of victim is solitary women. The investigation raises a lot of questions around the killer's means and opportunities. Leslie would be happy if the questions stopped there, but she's also wondering why she'd rather spend time with these women - specifically Casey - than with her fiance.

Casey would also like to stick to business, but as the case intensifies, she finds herself also watching Tori and Sam and wondering how they balance their public personas and private passions. Figuring it out is a pointless exercise, she tells herself, because that kind of lightning can't possibly strike twice.

Third one.

Another good story by Gerri Hill in the Hunter series. Splendidly narrated by AC.
I look forward to catching up with Tory and Sam again.

WOW! WHAT A FANTASTIC STORY.

This storyline just gets better and better with more twists and turns and a gripping story that keeps me on the edge of my seat. The writing is exceptional and so is Abby in her beautiful voice narrating. I definitely recommend this audio and the whole Hunter series. ❤

Great Trilogy

I love all of Gerri Hill's books but the Hunters Way trilogy have to be among my absolute favourites. I love the strong story lines, it makes a change from the usual LesFic if Lesbian falls for unobtainable straight woman but gets her in the end!

Great narration

Loved the storyline and the character development. Definitely a case of the one that got away. Felt left hanging at the end but on reflection a PTSD moment.

I'm very much enjoying these collection of books.
Awesome lesbians characters. Make sure you start from book 1 before listening to this.

Partners......

'Partners', book three in the 'Hunter' series is almost very good but the author seemed to run out of time leaving something feeling unfinished . The abrupt end didn't help and as with Book's One and Two there are gaps in the story that leave much unexplained ! There are more books to come so maybe we will get more of the story ?
The narrator does a good job but her limited voice rang gets confusing when different characters have the same voice.
I find AC is used so often in audiobooks that i can't listen to her books back to back . I appreciate a series is different, but Sam and Lesley have the same voice for example !
Overall a good series with a few hiccups !
