Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

Can love conquer all? A wonderfully romantic novel from the number one Sunday Times best-selling author of Recipe for Love, A French Affair and The Perfect Match.

Nel is the owner of a houseful of animals and the organiser of the farmer’s market in the picturesque Paradise Fields.

She is always super-busy, but not so busy to want to preserve the meadow and market she loves when its owner dies.

But who can she trust to help her save Paradise Fields?

Her sensible boyfriend, Simon?

Or Jake, the devilishly handsome man who kissed her under the mistletoe?

Love, but which may not survive....

A lovely read.

My favourite of the Katie Fforde I have read. Nell seems as though she is a real person. Wish I knew how her relationship turned out.

Love Katie Fforde

Not the best book she has written and not my favourite narrator..... But good story and thoroughly enjoyable characters as always.

An old favourite of mine

This book was my introduction to Katie Fforde years ago, when it was read by a different narrator and from then on she became my favourite author. I have to say I enjoyed this just as much as the first time round, roll on revisiting books! It has a bit of humour, a bit of mystery - who is the good guy, the one Nell can really trust? And lastly it's very entertaining and you get swept up in the world of Katie Fforde's making, the characters and all.

Another great book.

Classic Katie Fforde. Great characters and a bit of romance. Wonderful escapism in this crazy world. I’m on a mission to listen to all her books.

Enjoy the story but

The narrator put me off a bit, don’t think her voice fitted the main character. Although she has lovely crisp diction she sounds so much older than Nell the character should have been. I found this confusing. I feel the story came to a very quick conclusion like it was rushed
