About this listen

After a disaster of a first heat, I’m ready to swear off alphas and escape to a cabin in the woods.

My body has other plans.

Now that I’m awakened, I can’t survive another heat alone.

Problem is, I hate alphas, hate packs, and really super hate the so-called mates I can’t forgive and can’t forget.

Now my biological clock’s ticking too fast to handle, and I can’t wait on Wyvern Pack to figure out their damage.

I’ll take care of my own needs.

And if you can’t give me what I want, then get out of my way.

Because this omega bites back.

This book contains frequent cursing, references to assault that may be disturbing, and a few alphaholes who need to grovel for redemption. It's a medium-burn romance with high heat that includes MM and MMFMMM scenes.

It just git darker, well not really the relationship but the red fangs, bullying, twists and links behind it all, and how much worse the intention was. It really was a book of things that needed cleaning and fixing, and I loved the way they fixed it.

This book well as both books hurt, made me feel the pain, the angst, fear, horror and doubt, and pulled at my heart in the best and worst ways.

The Alphas, no matter what I can't fault Orion, had fkdup so much I couldn't see a redeeming path for them. But by the end, I couldn't remember why I felt that way. That was some swoon, soul-baring, growth-knotting journey! Even Jett, oh my Jett, and Finn!!! My dark alpha killer princess, their raw need and full-on feels hit me hard, I do love unhinged!
Hunter, Atlas and Orion, all five are written so well I could see them in my book-craven soul. And Lilah, she's one of my favourite FMCs, a stab and shot you, kick then stomp on you, before saving who she cares about while fighting her omega instincts to defend, find safety and survive. She is fierce and her inner monologue is funny at the best moments. At one point I fist pumped the air when she...Well, I won't spoil it. Okay, I fist pumped the air many times.

This series gave me some great smiles to, cheer and cry moments and I am all there for it!

Ends in a HEA, MM and MFMMMM, RH omegaverse series, dark triggers you should look at in case any may affect you, and some bad arse characters and events you can't help but see like a film

I've really enjoyed the two books, the first book being my favourite the only problem I have is the constant whining about how badly she was treated. I know she was it was in book one and I thought she would be less doubtful about their intentions. Anyway apart from that one thing I did enjoy the story and characters I loved them all. Troy being an added bonus as narrator I love his voices 😍

Great.. but

I really enjoyed this conclusion to the Pack Darling Duet. This one was as emotionally charged as part one but it was still full of delicious angst and drama. I loved Lilah’s strength and how it helped Orion grow into his own self confidence. This story was emotionally mature and reflective and that was something equally resonate in our main characters. So much growth and self reflection led to a healthier sense of self and a stronger member to the family unit.

I really enjoyed this conclusion and cannot wait to read Marisol’s story.
