Heavy but came good!
Since the idea of S&M has never appealed to me I've avoided it like the plague. As such I nearly gave up on this series. Many times. But I know some people do like it and with this in mind and seeing the developing relationship between the two main characters I was able to persist.
The last book meant I didn't regret my decision. I'm not sure why one or two other reviewers were disappointed with the final installment. Reading what they said nearly persuaded
me not to bother with it. I'm glad I went for it anyway. Book 3 gave me the ending I hoped for and needed.

Red flag MMC incoming.
I would expect a bit more to happen at the end, as it was pretty predictable and nothing unusual. And the inner monologue of heroine is a bit toooo much of whining. But narration was great. Did Brandon redeem himself for being a di*k? Not in my eyes. Did I enjoy this series and think it’s a very unique story? Absolutely.

Ending was Crap
This last book was horrendous. Nothing pleasurable, arousing or intriguing. How the hell can beating the shit out of someone till they bleed be arousing. This was a huge disappointment. Don't even wanna start on Brandon's brother performing sex acts on the woman his brother is in love with. WTF. Very disappointed in this last book considering how good the first two were. Jade West is so much better than this. Seems like she gave up and rushed the last book in this series. Only gave one star for Brandon's struggle to get to the woman he loves. The rest of this book is shit.
