This is not a diet book but it's helped me

This is not a diet book but it's helped me lose weight and have a more sensible approach to food. I think it's a classic and teaches what some of us had forgotten, like the difference between mouth hunger and stomach hunger.

As a food addict, carrying a bag of food around

As a food addict, carrying a bag of food around with me and filling my cabinets with binge food is not a good idea -- for me. However, I have stopped dieting, and I'm learning to eat and exercise like a real human being who is living a real life instead of SOMEONE WHO MUST BE THIN BY NEXT THURSDAY.

This way of thinking is how I've raised my kids and it has always worked for them. I just never thought about retraining my own way of thinking and apply it to myself.

A great and easy book to follow. I read alot of these books but this one has new and helpful advice I hadn't read before. worth your money. down to earth and practical

I liked this book a lot and have returned to it

I liked this book a lot and have returned to it time and time again when I find myself falling of the wagon. It offers clear concise advice in easy to read and understand language. A must have for anyone who struggles with the battle o the bulge.

A very scary book

A very scary book if you believe that food is addictive and needs to be controlled. This book goes against popular belief that various foods are 'sexy', 'bad', 'sinful', 'fattening', 'virtuous' or whatever.

I highly recommend this book.

I highly recommend this book. Just be sure to take your own addictions into account and make adjustments when needed. These authors do make some very valid and important points.
