Basic Information
Found this to be a very basic explanation of the disease processes. Dr Briffa very keen to get the patient to take supplements. Not helpful as didn’t explain what the patient should do in the case of a flare up of symptoms....the obvious is to go back to the doctor... But what if the doctor can’t do anything? Nutrition takes time to take effect on the body. What if the patient is suffering and needs help there and then?
As a patient suffering from both OA and RA, I’m not impressed with the information presented to me. Further research by Dr Briffa is definitely needed as well as help and info for the patient from the patient’s perspective!
