About this listen
Forgiving yourself is the first step toward finding true love.
Henry Atkins is determined to turn around his no-good, sorry life and prove to the residents of Clyde’s Corner that he’s not the town bad boy anymore. If going to church every Sunday with the Ladies Society is what it takes to polish his reputation, he’s all in. But when every secret fantasy in his head walks into the stables at Muddy River Ranch, the straight and narrow path he’s on takes a wild detour. It never felt so good to be so bad.
Micah has been one of the biggest porn stars in the world for five years, but he’s burned out. His body won’t cooperate to film even one more scene. A month’s vacation with his old friend Ben in Montana is just what his jaded heart needs. He wants rest, fresh air, and to not be recognized by a living soul. He sure as hell isn’t looking for a fling, and he wants nothing to do with Henry, the fanboy who works at Ben’s ranch.
The two men are both seeking a fresh start, an escape from the demons of their past. Fly-fishing lessons on the river uncover the surprising number of things they have in common and forms a heartfelt bond that might save their weary souls. Only Micah’s past isn’t through with him yet.

Fantastic!
One Trick Pony is the third book in the Clyde's Corner series, and it finally gives Henry Atkins a chance to redeem himself. Henry has been the "villain" and "bad apple" in the previous two books, but there have been hints that there is more to his story than just being a jerk. Underneath his awful facade, Henry has been hurting, and when he's given the chance to reinvent himself, he takes that opportunity in a heartbeat. Henry's just moving through life one step at a time, doing his best to make up for all his awful behavior--the last thing he expects to find is love. Micah is stuck. Life as a porn star has become stifling, and he needs something new. So he takes a vacation at Clyde's Corner, and everything changes. The story of Henry and Micah's romance was sweet and had me completely invested, but it was the exciting climax near the end that had me on the edge of my seat. I loved the action and excitement, and of course, the romantic happy ending. I hope that there will be more stories in the Clyde's Corner series.

Sweet story
This was a really lovely story about two men trying to redeem and being true to themselves. Henry had a difficult upbringing and did some things he regrets. He decides to change but he still has a bad reputation in the town. Micah is a burnt out gay porn star who comes and stay with friends to get his mojo back. He starts to form a friendship with the awkward and shy Henry. I really enjoyed following their story. It was sweet and they both come out stronger. Definitely gave me a warm feeling 💜
I really enjoyed the narration. It was very gentle and sympathetic and suited the story so well.

Lord of the Fly
Well narrated excessively silly drama with very serious themes. Interesting premise, not fulfilled with any skill. Not of the same calibre as Robby Riverton: Mail Order Bride. Is this author a one trick pony? Can find no other reason for the title.
ENOUGH ALREADY
