Summary

Young Oliver Twist, an orphan, runs away to London and falls in with Fagin and his band of child pickpockets, including the Artful Dodger, and suffers through abject poverty before discovering his true heritage and destiny. Charles Dickens' classic novel is more than an entertaining story, it was a cry for social reform as it followed Oliver through the poverty and criminal underworld of 19th-century London.

Spoiled by the narration.

I suppose it's my own fault for not listening to the sample before buying, but how on earth can you listen to Oliver Twist narrated by an American?
