Well written but nasty
Well read, well written, but oddly tedious as the characters were very flat and unlikeable. Reference was made to one of the most brilliant crime novels ever written - On Beulah Heights, by the peerless Reginald Hill - and so I stuck with it simply because of that. But I do now feel as though I need to wash my brain. Ugh.

Dire. Not for me. No redemption
I disliked everything from the unpleasant characters to the basic premise of the island right through to the dull ending. Cannot recommend this any less! Narrator did what he could but couldn’t redeem it for me
