Summary

Not So Gone, a new fast-paced thriller from the best-selling author of Not So Dead....

In Not So Gone, Sam Sunborn is forced to come back from the dead to save his son and protect his country from a sadistic terrorist. Can the genius scientist, Frank Einstein, free Sam from the Cloud and bring him back so he can return to his wife Monica in the physical world?

With the help of Albert Einstein's descendant and Homeland Security agents, Michelle Hadar, and Rich Little, Sam goes head-to-head against a driven psychopath, known only as The Cub, in a race against time. They must save Sam's son and thwart the Cub's diabolical plan or risk endangering millions of innocent lives. Can Sam and his rag-tag team use wit and will alone to prevent a worldwide catastrophe?

Not So Gone is the second stand-alone book in the Sam Sunborn series of cutting-edge techno-thrillers. If you like heart-pounding action, mind-bending inventions, and terrifying villains, then you'll love Charles Levin's gripping saga.

Another action packed hit

Oh wow, I started with book three and liked it so much I had to go.back and listen to the previous books. So glad I did because I enjoyed this book just as much and I can safely say listening to the story out of order doesn't effect the enjoyment. You just have a clue as to what is going to happen but with so many twists In the plot that isn't always certain. I can so easily see this being made into a big budget film, it is that good. The story is told by a number of characters, of which there are many but with so many twists in the plot it needs to be done this way and it keeps the story exciting and entertaining. The sci-fi body swooping is interesting (and scary) but it is the diabolical plans the baddies have to wipe out America that really grab you and keep you listening until the end. I just hope no terrorist get any ideas from this author. It is hard to write this review because so much happens and I don't want to give away any spoilers but I still want to get across the message that it is well worth a listen.
With the Leopard dead, his brother the cub comes out of hiding to act out his brothers plan and take revenge on the people who killed him. But first he needs to take out the team who stopped him and he does that by kidnapping a young boy. Sam is dead but lives on In the computer world that is until his son goes missing then he and his friends pull out all the stops to get him back and part of that plan means finding Sam a body he can use. The kidnapping is the first of many attacks planned and with many lives threatened the Cub must be stopped because he has discovery a weakness that is ripe for attack.
I liked the narrator and think.he adds to the drama with just the sound of his voice.
