Predictable and smaltzy
I picked this as I liked the title but unfortunately it was extremely misleading. It was exactly a cheesy Christmas romcom. It’s probably the most predictable and cheesy book I’ve ever read (listened to). I didn’t hate it and the narrators were quite good but shame that it didn’t have a different title

This is a great, easy light hearted romance, a little mystic with everyone hiding something. Wired getting crossed and may be a spot of magic! Brilliantly read by both Andi Arndt and Teddy Hamilton.

Predictable easy listen
I found the narrators intonations a bit off putting, feeling that they sounded like AI creations at times. The plot was an easy listen if predictable, and by the end of it I wasn’t that bothered by the outcome, skipping ahead through the epilogue and last chapter. I finished it as it was an easy listen in the background.
