Dissapointed
So much like "Waking Olivia", I couldn't even believe it and it was even a much more worse version of it. That endless whining about that 6 (!!) years age gap as it was at least 20-30 years made me crazy, not to mention the heroine was being portrayed kinda dumb because how else could it be explained that she is 19 years old, the prettiest and hottest girl in the world, who doesn't know that she is all that and didn't think that her twice as old very married boss's to much and very unprofessional attention is what's about... oh come on. The whole book was annoying, stopped listening after half time.
I love this author so I did not expect this book to be such a dissapointment.

Well Performed -
My biggest problem was I felt this story was dragged out for longer than necessary. There were times I was silently begging for the plot to just get on with it

Not for me😢
How can this be the same author as "The Devil you Know"?What is up with this fmc? Elle needs a good dose of self-respect and stop being such a doormat. Just like on my last Elizabeth O'Roark's book, this one has a fmc that is too young and weak in many aspects and allows others to treat her as a doormat. She is supposed to have survived negligent parents and even taken care of her self- absorbed mother, yet she just allows everyone to treat her badly until they decide to stop, wtaf?????
James is an ahole that treats his attraction to a 19 year old as if she was under age and the age gap is to huge to even contemplate a relationship. He is 25, only 25!
The narration had a baby voice for this 19 year old (even though she is supposed to be all grown , beyond her years.
All in all a bit dissapointing .

Congratulations to the Author!
Honestly, this is the worst book I’ve ever encountered in my life. By the language used in the book alongside the mediocre storyline, I can only assume that this was written by a teenager. This has to be the only explanation for this. I have to congratulate her because this is a massive achievement to have under her belt at such a tender age. My advice is to keep going, with time and effort comes improvement. Best of luck.
