About this listen

Sleeping with colleagues. Avoiding sleeping with colleagues. Trying to stop your career going up in smoke because you want to sleep with a colleague who slept with your boss.

Pretty much standard daily fare for the team of horny hotshots at the international early stage technology company investment firm, Aardvark Venture Capital.

Peter Williamson, investment director at Aardvark in London, is in trouble!

The investment he led into tech startup Riverjack Crypto looks doomed when the notorious founder kills himself (and his finance director) in a bizarre car crash!

Peter's cantankerous boss, Gordon, is on the hunt, seemingly not just for him but for superstar Susannah, parachuted in from San Francisco head office to sort out the mess by supremo Mitch. Their previous meeting in Vegas is something she would rather leave there, but Gordon wants to continue the party.

Meanwhile, the firm's suave lawyer, Tom, is permanently distracted by Lisa, Peter's delectable PA, while associate Edwin looks on in silent jealousy....

Henry, the firm's other London partner, just cannot avoid the temptation of any available piece of skirt.

Cavorting on a lascivious romp through London, everything seems tame by comparison once the team gathers for the strategic offsite. When everyone descends on a hotel for the meeting—and at night attempt to descend on each other—total mayhem ensues.

This is the world of venture capital—fully exposed!

British humor at its best

Fast paced, reads like a modern farce. What makes is unique is the tech and PE backdrop. Intrigues and fun of relationships across the pond are priceless.

Funny and close to home - a great listen

Couldn’t put it down and laughed and laughed - great listen with a narrative close to the ego centric VC world
