Summary

Following his second marriage in 1907, Arthur Conan Doyle was looking to the future. The years ahead would see the birth of three children, fresh literary success and the discovery of his new faith. Those same years would also see the First World War, the final adventures of Sherlock Holmes, and ridicule from the religious and scientific communities for his beliefs.

Very well researched book.

I found this book really interesting. I learnt a lot about Conan Doyle's family relationships and his many fights for justice for various groups and individuals. The last part of the book dealt with his involvement in spiritualism. He toured the world with his lectures and the book made me wish I had been around at the time to listen to any of his lectures on any subject. What an incredible man!
