About this listen
What doesn’t kill you doesn’t always make you stronger. Sometimes it leaves you broken.
Nijat is a half-elf with one foot in the world of men, and the other foot in the world of the elves – but welcomed in neither.
Once, the King’s guard of Azovia held him and his sister captive in the Fortress of Ravani – valuable prisoners, because of their elven blood. Nijat made a costly sacrifice for his sister’s safety, and now all he wants is to find a place to belong – but will his mixed heritage once again make him a wanted man?
Inessa is the greatest wayfinder of the Branadhen Clan. She has her own reasons to feel she doesn’t fit with the world around her. When she meets Nijat, she never expected to have anything in common with this stranger, but slowly she understands that his search for home and belonging mirrors her own.
Nijat of Nowhere is a fantasy story about finding family, belonging, and love in a world that seems to have no place for them.

Very enjoyable
A pleasant tale of some admirable characters, no undue violence, no swearing and a wealth of information about the lands and inhabitants. A lovely main character Nijat and a strong female character joining his travels. A different view of elves from Tolkien (I do prefer the Professor’s take on elves) but interesting inhabitants of the various parts of the novel’s world. Well written which is always a pleasure.
