Summary
Maura might be new to the supernatural town of Green Vallis, but this isn't her first dance with the devil.
Half vampire, half human, and full bar owner, Curtis Jefferson has spent a lifetime running from his vampiric ancestor. When the old nemesis finally catches up to him, it’s only by a freak accident that he’s not killed. But now the beautiful woman who saved his life has a target on her back.
As the new owner of the local motel, Maura MacGregor doesn’t have to live at the family mansion, affording her the ability to stay out of the limelight. She never thought the famed Warlock MacGregors’ magickal troubles would manifest by way of a tall, dark, and hunky bar owner, but she doesn't get to make the rules. Fate does.
Magic, mischief, and kilts!
From the Highlands of Scotland to the valleys of Wisconsin.... A modern-day Scottish paranormal romance by NYT best-selling author Michelle M. Pillow.

Absolutely Brilliant
This is another rip-roaring MacGregor adventure. Maura MacGregor has been running the local motel with her brother. When she hears drums she is drawn to the woods, there she meets Curtis. He is
wounded having just fought a vampire. That is where their adventure and love story starts. This is a great story with all the characters we have come to love.
The naration is excellent.
I am so looking forward to Uncle Raibeat's story.

Time Travel and Love for a MacGregor
This is Maura and Curtis’s story and it has them stuck in a time travel loop. An entertaining story with a very strong leading lady, cleverly written and totally engaging. The ending was emotional and Uncle Railbeart is such fun and not as daft as he acts! Great story telling by Michelle M Pillow and the narration by Michael Ferraiuolo is fantastic as always!

MacGregors still going strong!
I got completely engrossed by this book and its narration. As usual, lots happens fast in the MacGregor family, and you can never fully expect what happens next except for the HEA at the end... A thoroughly enjoyable read.

love Warlocks MacGregor
Maura believes that she will be able to stay out of the MacGregor craziness. Well, that thought ended about the same time she meets Curtis, the bar owner that will capture your attention. Curtis has tried to ignore part of his ancestry but that ended when the past comes calling.

Wonderful, Fun, Enjoyable Paranormal Adventure
Such a wonderful, fun, enjoyable, romantic and exciting paranormal adventure.
Listen to audible version of the books as they have the added bonus of listening to the tales with Scottish accent of one of the main characters and on this occasion double bonus as lovely southern drawl also.
We experience Maura MacGregor's mating experience and in true MacGregor traditional it is not an easy courtship with lots of obstacles and unusual adventures along the way. Maura's true love partner is a dampire, half human and half vampire with very questionable ancestor.
I really enjoy this series as had so much going for it with great characters, amazing sense of humour, fun, adventure, magic, paranormals and a wonderful support cast of MacGregor family. Each member of the clan brings their own unique element to the stories and with each adventure you get more familiar with the characters, especially Uncle Raibeart and feel like part of the family.
Really enjoyable, fun, magic adventures.

Another fabulous tale
Maura MacGregor is running the local Hotel Motel and battling her brother's "creative" talents. She is however distracted by the sound of drums and when she follows the sound,, she encounters Curtis, a damphir, who has just defeated a vampire.
Initially I was concerned that I would not like this book as much as the previous ones, as the initial action between Maura and Curtis takes place away from the rest of the MacGregor family and the hijinks that normally ensues with them. I need not have worried, soon the rest of the family steps up to help Maura and Curtis with their usual flair.
What did come across in this book were the strong women that took the lead, this applied to not just Maura but also her mother.
