Did you ever heard about neuro-linguistic programming (NLP)? What about dark psychology and stoicism? Would you like to find out how do they work? Then, you need to keep reading!

Each individual has established their own unique mental filtering system for processing the millions of bits of data being absorbed through the senses. Our first mental map of the world is constituted of internal images, sounds, tactile awareness, internal sensations, tastes, and smells that form as result of the neurological filtering process. The first mental map is called "first access" in NLP.

You can do a lot of things to be more persuasive and use at better the first map, from learning better ways to communicate to more shady manipulation techniques. The philosophy asserts that virtues, such as wisdom, happiness, and judgment should be based on behavior, rather than words. We don’t control and cannot rely on external events, only ourselves and our responses.

The wonders of psychology are endless. It’s a field worth exploring, but is only useful by first putting in the effort to learn and implement. Robotic voice

Really struggled to get in to this due to the robotic narration, didn't find the start particularly gripping in content either. Shame as an interesting topic

Not read. Computer generated voice.

This is a joke! The book isn’t read by a person. It is a computer saying words in the order the author intended. Therefore no inflection, personality, warmth, humour or anything that would make you happy to listen to it. Such a shame as the subject matter really interests me. What a waste of money.
