About this listen

How would you like to never have to engage in small talk again? Would you jump at the chance to stop having to give every conversation you have with new people CPR?

Introverts gather around! A solution to your small-talk woes is imminent. The most famous introverts in the world - among them Eleanor Roosevelt, Gandhi, and even Elon Musk - have known the secret to building connections while staying true to yourself, and now, it is your turn.

In Networking for Introverts, we will present the solution to annoying small talk with people you have just met and introduce you to the power of using vulnerability and curiosity in networking.

Networking is more than just exchanging business cards with people in the hopes they might vaguely remember you one day. It is all about enhancing your life through relationships. It may seem unlikely that introverts are actually the masters of the art of building deep connections, but you are about to learn how to leverage that natural strength.

Introverts are some of the best networkers in the world because they understand the secrets to networking through authenticity and vulnerability. Leverage the strengths your unique introvert personality brings to the room and use networking to get you further than you ever dreamed possible.

Inside Networking for Introverts, learn how to:

  • Face a room full of people with confidence, even if you aren’t an extrovert by nature
  • Talk to anyone at a party or function and make a deep impression without a single word of small talk
  • Understand your particular brand of introversion and figure out how you can use it to your advantage
  • Advance your business life and become a business leader and entrepreneur through the power of networking

Get what you want even if you are introvert

As a new entrepreneur, I sometimes find networking difficult. While insisting on the importance of networking to help you reach your personal and professional goals, this audiobook also explains how you can improve your social skills even if you are introvert OR shy. I especially enjoyed the chapters on the body language and how to formulate questions that keep the discussion open.
Some people may find the analysis of the introvert personality too much detailed . But overall, I really enjoyed this audiobook and the tips provided to overcome shyness and / or social discomfort.

My journey to networking

Networking for introverts is one of the most greatest book I have ever read recently. It helped me to understand how introverts use the art of networking both in academic and professional life. In my Chevening scholarship application when I wrote about skills of networking essay this book was a tremendous asset to make my application run easy!
I would give this book five stars.
Special thanks to Renee who share this book in social media!
Read this book you will never regret!

An excellent guide to networking for Introverts.

In the interests of honesty, I received a review code for this book.

I am with little doubt an introvert who grew up and worked my way through industries that didn't understand them and certainly didn't value them apart from when an answer was needed that was buried in regulations or a computer was broken.

I wish I had books like this twenty years ago, both in that they would have helped validate how I was feeling and in helping nudge me towards better networking skills which were sorely lacking for most of my career.

Alongside Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking, I find this book an excellent guide to help to pick apart some of the complexities of navigating your way through a world of extroverted managers, to learn to interface with them enough to not get lost in the din and to give yourself the confidence to realise that just because your idea is not shouted the loudest doesn't mean it isn't the best.

The narrator is clear, enthusiastic and easy to listen to.

The book is concise which for me is a major plus point, I hate wading through hours and hours of fluff when a book which makes its point in five hours feels it has to stretch it over twenty hours.

While not meant as criticism rather as a suggestion, having some supporting documents, written summaries or exercises can help with these sorts of things particularly as people are not often sitting with an audiobook playing and then writing notes at the same time.

I hope you guys find the book as interesting as I did.

Repetitive and vague

Repetitive and vague. Instructions to "find the right time" or "Say the right thing" without details when or what or why these things apply was unhelpful. Also constantly repeating the content of earlier sections of the book made for frustration.
