Se trata de una colección de tres relatos ambientados en entornos muy distintos. El primero de ellos, “Alboroto en la orden,” se desarrolla en Londres y se inspira en un episodio de la vida del poeta irlandés William Butler Yeats (1865-1939), cuando protagonizó un rudo encontronazo con el ocultista Aleister Crowley (1875-1947). El segundo, “Nacarado atardecer”, trata de una historia familiar que tiene lugar en los alrededores de Niza, la vieja oposición entre los enemigos hermanos.

Finalmente, el tercer relato, “Dos alegorías, una dentro de la otra”, acontece en una imaginaria ciudad de segundo orden, ubicada en alguna parte del País Valenciano. Los tres relatos de la presente entrega indagan en el enrarecido y, las más veces, siniestro espacio que constituye el terreno de caza de la jauría humana, hasta descubrir la minúscula gota de luz que siempre brilla en algún lugar.
