About this listen

Brought to you by Penguin.

At the wedding of the century, a brazen kidnapper steals the star of the show....

Erin Easton's wedding in one of New York's biggest venues may have a TV crew documenting every extravagant detail, but when the bride disappears from the reception, it's no diva turn. Her dressing room is empty except for a blood-spattered wedding dress.

Detective Kylie MacDonald of NYPD Red, already at the scene as a plus-one, brings in her partner, Detective Zach Jordan, to search for the missing bride. Unable to rule anything out, every A-list celebrity on the guest list has to be considered either a target of suspicion...or a target.

twist twist twist

loved this story the story was always changing.i thought it was going to go one way which was annoying me but then it went another and was genuially surprised and smiling like an idiot. But needs more action for a cop story.

NYPD RED6

The twist and turns in this story intriguing with each chapter.
I particularly like the story ideas and the way all the ends tied up to finish in a way I understand

Excellent as always

love this series. Yes, each book is similar, but it's still a thrill ride

Still Worth It

At the start of the series, I didn’t think that this franchise had much mileage. It certainly lost its way (for me), with K’s messy marriage. However, this is a solid story: easy to read, and although there’s no challenge in the ‘whodunnit’, stakes (in the lead story), the way the tale unfolded was nicely done.

I’m looking forward to No. 7, whenever that may be.

brilliant book, in my personal opinion no need for change of voice between male and female.

Good story and great reading performance

I enjoyed this book. Kept me going without a too complicated plot which I like as I listen to these when going to sleep so need something relatively simple to grasp:) I saw the ending coming early on but still enjoyed the narration and the story generally.

So-so

Sorry, not that fussed on this one. Not a driving narrative, and killing two key characters halfway through the book was probably not a good idea
