Summary

N.V.: A Tale of Virtuality and Reality

In the heart of San Diego, a technological revolution is brewing, one that promises to blur the lines between the virtual and the real. "N.V." unfolds the story of Mike Russell and Fred Ashton, two ambitious visionaries and lifelong friends who stand at the forefront of this revolution. Together, they co-found New Virtuality, a company set to redefine human interaction with the world through their groundbreaking device, the Thimble.

But as their creation begins to take shape, so do the complexities of their relationships and the ethical dilemmas of their technology. When a series of mysterious events threatens to unravel everything they've built, Mike and Fred find themselves in a web of deceit, ambition, and betrayal, where the virtual can be more real than reality itself.

Caught between the past and the future, friendship and rivalry, love and ambition, the two friends must navigate the treacherous waters of corporate espionage, technological ethics, and personal vendettas. Alongside a cast of compelling characters—Sharon, a dynamic woman with secrets of her own; Jackie, Mike's steadfast and insightful wife; and Lewis, the brilliant but reclusive coder—"N.V." is a relentless quest for truth, redemption, and a place in a world on the brink of a virtual dawn.

"N.V." is a riveting technological thriller that explores the depths of human connection in an increasingly digital age, a story where the lines between ally and adversary are constantly redrawn.

Dive into the virtual reality drama that is "N.V." to discover a future where virtuality is the new reality, and where every dream comes with a price.

A Riveting Virtual Reality Adventure

I just finished listening to the audiobook N.V. New Virtuality, and it was a fantastic experience! The story is set in San Diego, where two friends, Mike and Fred, are on the cutting edge of a technological revolution with their groundbreaking device, the Thimble. The narration brings the story to life as we dive into a world where the line between virtual reality and real life is blurred. The audiobook captures the intense twists and turns as Mike and Fred navigate friendship, rivalry, and ethical dilemmas. The characters, like Sharon and Jackie, are well-developed, and the narrator does a great job of making each one distinct. If you love tech thrillers with a gripping plot and excellent narration, this audiobook is a must-listen!

intense and real

This is a very gripping story if you like the mysterious turns of events. There are lots of mysteries and unknowns that unfold gradually while you goes deeper into the story. The narration is also very engaging, have me totally immersed in the story. It feels like I can visualize the characters and scenes already. It'll quickly have you hooked as soon as the story begins, and there was never a minute that I felt I wanted to turn it off. I just had to turn it off when I got to the garage, and even that, there was once I stayed in my car and kept listening for a few more minutes, the story was so intense. highly recommend!
