Summary

This is the sequel to My Very First Murder.

Galvanised by previous success, the narrator confesses to another homicide. Rather than selecting a random victim this time, the eager perpetrator has a particular type in mind. Social cleansing is the killer’s moral justification for slaying a paedophile. The unnamed killer has stepped out of their comfort zone this time. Impulsive and even reckless at times, the murderer sets about their new project with mounting pleasure. The murderer’s journey is not without issues, but deems the result to be worth the extra effort.

As before, the storyteller again directly engages with the listener. The evasive narrator will not even reveal their gender, nor which country they operate in. The question is, has the killer become careless? Are there any clues to their identity that are embedded within the audio?

Gripping cliffhanger

After listening to ‘My Very First Murder’ I thought i’d listen to this one and I have to say it leads on very nicely. Due to the nature of the crimes you begin to wonder why he/she is committing them. Intrigued to listen to the next audio!

Absolutely amazing!

Wow! As I have listened to 'My Very First Murder' and thoroughly enjoyed all it's twists and turns, I did not think it was possible to go one step further. However, 'My Very Second Murder' has done just that and I cannot praise it enough. It caught and kept my attention from beginning to end and was similar to the feeling you get when you can't put a good book down and keep telling yourself, 'just one more chapter'. Fantastic storyline which kept you hooked and the narrator has the ability to reel you in and keep you wanting to know more. Excellent from start to finish and CANNOT wait to hear more from both this author and the narrator. 10/10 from me

Good read!

Read the first book in this series (My Very First Murder) so gave the second a read - and enjoyed it! Enjoyed that the author/'murderer' speaks directly to the reader and following him pick the next murder victim. Will be giving the 3rd book a read too!
