True to the book. Epic read/listen
For people who want to buy this to read along with the book, I can confirm it’s 100% word for word as written in the book.

Wow. Written in 1922 and is still relevant in this day and age.

It is a great book - Highly recommend it!
It is very useful book, particulary to those who want to build an organisation. Ford shows how he's built his Ford Motor Company and outlines his philosophy for mass production. He also touched on on the challenges he faced througout his work and how he overcame them. This book, also, serves as a motivational book for entrepreneurs.

A window into our past
I listened out of curiosity from the engineering perspective as Ford's production line was very much the foundation of Lean thinking (with Toyota doing much subsequent development). I was impressed overall. Ford has much to say on business, ethics, finance, & customer service to name but a few. Many of his ideas are still just as true and relevant today as they were 100 years ago. A minority of his ideas are abhorrent though: in particular his refusal to employ married women, and his thoughts about the Jewish people. If you are likely to be offended by these words, then it may be best to give this title a miss. If this title is remastered in future, I'd recommend relegating these isolated paragraphs to an appendix - they certainly tarnished my overall experience.

A key perspective in history
A brilliant example of a man lead by purpose. Purpose to create, serve, innovate, enlighten, think and challenge. This is a vital read for everyone, whether you're interested in perspectives from the past, business, philosophical thinking or even political ideology (to some extent). A valuable entry into my collection. Also props to the narrator, his voice was well selected for this body of work.

Interesting story about Henry Ford's principles.
The story felt monotonous sometimes. I wish the storytelling went deeper into his development as a person.

Very interesting listen
I was surprised by how considerate and compassionate Ford was towards the working man. The idea that a worker should be paid enough to support his wife and children so they do not need to go out and work, and never cutting wages in a down turn, were not what I expected from Ford. I think a lot of so called captains of industry could benefit from this book to see how backwards some businesses have become. Service, quality, standard of living rate above profit in Ford’s view.
