Great mystery
A great mystery. a death at a restaurant has one of Sheridan's friends arrested. her investigation then puts her in harms way. one of the best stories so far, lots of good suspects, lots of secrets, some tense scenes and a well though out ending. the characters are atrong and the writing excellent. Narration as usual for these books is flawless.

Intriguing storyline.
Very enjoyable third book in this series. It has an intriguing storyline with a lot of twists and is very well narrated by Alyssa Baumann. I loved reading more about Sheridan and Brett and their relationship.
A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.

A real whodunnit
I enjoyed this book. It was a real whodunnit and kept me guessing until the end. There was a number of suspects but with everybody keeping secrets and even the victims own colourful past meant anyone could have been involved. The story mostly focuses on the mystery but is broken up with a little bit of home life and college drama, creating a well balanced and interesting story. I like the characters, Sheridan is down to earth, capable but still able to ask for help when needed, making her a teacher and sleuth that everybody wants on there side. With this being book three in the series I can only see it going from strength to strength and i can't wait for the next mystery.
Sheridan returns from holiday to find her favourite waitress being accused of murder. With no connection to the college, Sheridan vowels to stay out of it until the accused daughter and her lawyer ask her to consult. The dead man was her ex husband, a man who made her and her families life a misery. With so many suspects with a motive and opportunity in the restaurant at the time Sheridan will have her work cut out for her if she wants to solve the murder before summer break is over. There is also the problem of trying to find a new dean for the college and planning a birthday party for her boyfriend. It might be a long list to get through but her life and happiness may depend on it.
I like the narrator. She gives each character there own voice making the mystery come alive.

The final chapter.
This third book in the Cold Creek mystery's is excellent. When a Man dies at the local grill a waitress is accused of his murder, but Sheridans investigations uncover a much different story. Her relationship with Brett develops a lot in this book and she finally gets to meet his daughter Maddison. How will it develop? I look forward to finding out at some point by listening to the spin off series, The Sheridan Hendley Mysteries. Alyssa Baumann once again does a great narration and brings what has been a really good series to a close. Highly recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.
