About this listen

A woman’s dream, a warning, a murder, but it's the wrong person.

When a mistaken identity murder happens at her sister’s bookstore in Cottonwood Springs, Brigid has no choice. She has to find the person who intended to murder her sister.

Not everyone liked her sister, Fiona. Several people could have done it, including the competing bookstore owner, the religious fanatic, the psychic, and her landlady. Now all Brigid has to do is figure out if it was one of them or just a random event.

Sometimes it’s a good thing to have a 125-pound Newfoundland dog for a pet, particularly when the creek runs deep and fast.

This is the third book in the Cottonwood Springs series by a two-time USA Today best-selling author, and one guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and leave a warm feeling in your heart.

I enjoyed this book. The story starts with the murder and then goes back in time and only happens with two hours left to listen. However this works well because while you are waiting for the murder to happen a lot is going on, such as Holly solving her own mystery, introduction to suspects and a little romance or should I say good news. Even though the murder doesn't start until later in the book I still really enjoyed it because of the characters. They are all such like able people with big hearts, who else could befriend someone who they thought might have tried to kill them?. A fun cozy mystery that keeps you guessing.
Brigid is worried about her sister and when spending time with her, getting to know her better and what interests her a medium gives them a dire warning. It is only when Fiona's new assistant is found stabbed to death in the back of the book store that the sisters take the threat seriously. If the wrong person was killed does that mean Fiona is still in danger? Will her sister's life on the line Brigid isn't going to sit around and let the killer get again. Even if it means investigating a greedy landlord, a jealous book store owner, a grumpy hermit or even the medium who warned them. But just who will prove to be the killer and what was the murder weapon?
I liked the narrator. She uses different voices for each character, so you had no problems telling which character was talking and made it a fun listen.
