About this listen

Throughout her life, Mother Teresa worked to transform our ideas of home, love, and family. Her life teaches us that it is never too late to make a difference in the world. As a figure of the 20th century, she saw the rapid changes taking place in the world and among its people. She asked individuals to contemplate the meaning of ideas such as home, love, and family and to be open to new conceptions of these terms in the midst of our changing world. In doing so, Mother Teresa introduced a new, modern way of doing missionary work, led an international religious organization, and was beloved by people the world over for the work she did out of love for her family, which would one day grow to include all of humanity. Her life teaches us that it is never too late to make a difference in the world.

Spoilt by terrible naration

This is a very brief over-view of the life of Mother Teresa. It tries to put her life and actions into the context of the times in which she lived. The content is interesting, but all the time I was left wanting more detail.

The book was spoilt by the worst naration ever! It was a reall effort to keep listening, and if the content has not been so interesting I would have given up.

Inspiring!

Very well written and interesting insight to one of the most amazing and inspirational Christians of our generation.
Following God's instruction of loving your neighbour, Mother Theresa showed what an amazing difference such a simple act of faith could achieve.

Good overall

I liked the balance of this book in terms of length in detail. I didn’t want to deeply detailed account of mother Theresa‘s life and I felt this was just the right length. I found the narration good but a little unnatural in delivery. Quite a strong American accent which Brits often find difficult.
