Excitingly good monster listen and read
Book two in an exciting monstrous read. Filled with excellent characters facing what, who, and why of themselves and each other. Forgiving each other and learning to understand their trauma, pain, and grief. Shocking cliffhanger action-packed listen. Wonderfully performed by Adam Gold has become a favourite to listen to. Amber is a new listen, and she did a fantastic read.

Fantastic !
This is such a cleverly written, gripping story. Ava really has a talent for keeping you on the edge of your seat, wanting more 😀 The narration is beautifully performed, making it very enjoyable and easy to listen to.

engrossed in the shadowblood universe
It was such an emotional journey. Kinda like shadowblood who blink into existence, our heroine and her guys are new to the world... no scarp that, new to the freedom of the world. But they are not safe. The guys have finally stopped hurting our heroine. But that pain doesn't just disappear, so it's a journey or learning to trust again, as well as discovering the fun of connecting in the sheets.
As well as learning to trust each other, forgiving enough to move forward, and staying off the Guardians' radar. They also have to deal with Shadowkind and some prejudice against them for being them. We get our link of character from a previous series, and because I've read that series I trust him already, but I watch as they learn to trust him in this new angle as a allie in a new world out to destroy them.
Oh, and the steamy moments get better. My favourite so far, as we are not dealing with monsters with 100s of years of experience. Nope, most are just instincts and raw needs. and it's hot yet sweet, smut!
Now the ending, I kinda saw something like this twist coming. But I'm not disappointed, I'm just eager to find out if blood family is complete or destroyed in the next book.

An Urban Fantasy Why Choose Romance
Monstrous Power by Eva Chase is an urban fantasy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Amber Lee Connors and Adam Gold. This is the second book in the Shadowblood Souls series.
I love Eva's books! I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I am really enjoying the relationship between Riva, Jacob, Zian, Andreas, and Dominic. It is extremely messy and complicated since she walked back into their lives. But I can't help but root for them. I can't wait to see how it will continue to progress over the course of the series. I really enjoyed getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
The book ended on another amazing cliffhanger that left me begging for more. I can't wait to jump into the next book in the series Captured Fate.
Amber and Adam did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for an urban fantasy romances, why choose romances, or romantic suspense.

From One Dramatic Cliffhanger to Another!
I love this book it picks up where Shattered Vow left us hanging as Riva struggles to work out what just happened and how to control her newfound horrific power. Despite everything she's experienced her need to get back to the guys is uppermost in her mind but will she be able to find them and will their relationship still be as strong? She tracks down her guys, only to discover that they blame her for Griffin's death and Jacob is determined to make her pay. As she tries her place within their individual group and learns about their new powers too, she and the guys must try and build their bond again all whilst constantly running for their lives.
The drama, angst, tension, and action continues to climb but then Riva and the guys decide to seek out and team up with the monsters they were bred to hunt, hoping to learn more about themselves and how to control their powers better. We meet some interesting new characters as well as an old friend and some complexity is added to the story.
Then as only Eva Chase can she managed to build the tension and the heat and then again left us hanging on an even bigger cliffhanger than the last one.
I love this series and am so eager to listen to the rest.
The narration by Amber Lee Connors and Adam Gold is excellent and couldn't be improved upon.

Hooked on this world and its stories
Brilliant Narration. Listening while crafting enjoying the roller-coaster of emotions and situations, I forget the worries of the day.
The book ended and I'm searching for the next but I'm going to have to wait, left on a dozey of a cliff hanger.
