About this listen

It was called Jade Dragon…and it threatened to destroy the West.

Was an attack on the US imminent?

In a lab deep in the heart of China, a brilliant engineer had a breakthrough. It was the most powerful AI ever created. Ma Young believed the Jade Dragon could combat the world’s most dire challenges. There was just one problem...the president of China had other ideas. Was this their chance to conquer?

The war began at the speed of light. The entire NATO alliance stood on the brink of destruction. Cyber attacks, deepfakes, and a wave of social media disinformation wrought fear and desperation across the globe. The sleeping giant was awake. Could Ma stop his creation?

Monroe

Very exciting and quite frightening story as it is so feasible, didn’t get all the technical stuff but obviously well researched, just got volume 2

Loved Vol 1

Very fast paced and gripping from outset. Good mix of narrative and battle scenes and a need to keep listening to see what happens next.

A fantastic concept and brilliant story

Just completed the whole series.
This is an 8 part series covering the whole of an AI led global war. It is, however, not a fantastical far fetched idea but is actually a worryingly realistic and plausible scenario.
The characters are believable, the narration is good and the story is gripping and fast paced.
Once you start you will be hooked.
Go for it. You won’t regret it.

What a start to a series - Five stars

I can't compliment this book enough. Fast paced thriller. Believable characters and locations.

Looking forward to the rest of series.

Disappointing

Bought this because of the stellar reviews. It’s well conceived but to me reads like a series of imaginary historical events. There are no characters to follow or truly invest in, jumping endlessly to new characters in new situations, to a point at which I stopped caring. The Ai war role concept is very interesting in fact the whole premise is and that’s what kept me listening at all.
