The most enjoyable parenting book

I love this humble, practical, funny, relatable and useful parenting book. I even listened to tips on co-regulating a child twice to make sure I soaked them in.

Accessible, practical wisdom, delivered with wit and humility.

I have got so many ideas thanks to this book, and have had a lot of my own parenting style validated, but Gwenna’s way of explaining the concepts and the logic behind them in an engaging and sometimes hilarious manner, and also how to implement strategies in a intentional and strategical way is so helpful. The repetition was excellent at drilling home concepts into my child-addled brain. Gwenna is an entertaining and wise person, really fun to listen to. I’ve recommended her to anyone who will listen, and I hope she will write another book soon, don’t really mind about what, she’s damn fine company.

Responsive Parenting Bible

I loved this book as a comprehensive guide to responsive parenting. I love Gwenna's approach as someone who definitely veers more towards gentle parenting but finds some of that content a little unrealistic. Gwenna's approach feels accessible and gives me food for thought.

Great listen for non-parents too

I know I'm not necessarily the target audience for this book, since I still struggle with the decision of even having children, but I am glad I listened to this book. It's full with practical advice and reassurance, and most importantly it does not mystify parenthood as so many other sources do.
