Heard better!
The story I felt was weak and not usual standard. Sadly the narration was hurried. I struggled with the voice of the narrator and took a while to finish. No pauses between scenes meant I was often confused where and who it was about. Disappointing.

Good book spoiled by narration
I found the no pause leaps from scene to scene extremely annoying and distracting. No sooner had one character stopped speaking than we flew breathlessly on to a new scene and character. I found myself rewinding to understand where we were!!!

Great story, terrible narration
Great story which dragged me through the 12 or so hours. The narrator has a nasal voice which is dreadful and gives no indication we are in a new paragraph. Very annoying although you get used to it about halfway through.

Loved this kept me gripped finished it within 48 hours working my way through Harlen Cobens books in order

Dusappointed
I love Harlan Coben's work but this book may be better in print. I couldn't get used to the narrator at all. The characters all run in to one with no gaps for change of scene. The story was OK and gripping in parts button one I would recommend

Not up to the usual standard
I found this storyline very far fetched and, I'm sorry to say, unbelievable.
It's a shame as I have liked every other book by this author.

Interesting story, poor delivery
The story is good enough, not one of Cobens best but still keeps you guessing. But the narration was not good with odd choices made for inflections and characterisations. Worse was the job editing the audio. No pauses between chapters or even paragraphs and with the poor narration it was difficult and jarring to work out when the scenes had changed. It’s so disappointing when the audio decisions let the book down.

Narrator too bad for words
i wanted to enjoy this story, I persevered to the end but the narrator did her best to stop me from listening. Her voice and tone was so uninspiring that I could rarely follow who was speaking or when a scene changed. Truly one of the worst I have experienced. It became a challenge just to understand what was going on let alone enjoy the experience. Please, send this lady back to school and teach her to read.
