About this listen
Being part of the mob is complicated...but so is staying alive.
Jack's missing, and I'm the only person who can find him. To find Jack, I will have to be willing to enter a world where goodness and faith cannot exist, and sunlight is consumed by the shadows. Where I’ll have to give myself over the cruelty and power and become suspicion itself. And I wonder if my soul is up to the task or if I’ll come back like the very people I’ve been running from my whole life.
Don’t miss the next exciting installment of Mi Familia.

Franki saves the day!!
This series could have just been one book, I'm just glad I was able to listen to the series in its entirety all at once.
Franki was last left at her trailer park home and now she gets a visit....Jack is missing. Will she go find him...uh yea!!!! Because she loves this dude. She's endures loss and happiness in her attempt to find Jack and save him.
I know I said it before, but for a book called Mi Familia, described as a Mafia Romance and being part of a series called Married to the Mob, this is not what I expected. In the name alone there is just too much Mafioso for this book. The title does not fit at all. It's barely a Romance and fits more of the Suspense/Thriller genre. But like I said, I totally like the story, just think it should be described differently.
Debbie Soelter, the narrator, keeps leaving me unsure of her performance. I know I couldn't imagine Franki any other way. Maybe it was planned this way, if not, guess what, she is the best narrator for this series.
