A sweet treat and a clue
This is a box set of three of the author books that were released separately.
Dessert, Destiny, and Death
I did enjoy this book but was disappointed with the ending, it just ended with no clue if the bad guy was ever arrested or what even happened to him. Also one threatening note and a private investigates world grounds to a halt? Scared to go to work but won't let the policeman boyfriend stay over, somehow these reactions didn't seem right or real to me. Otherwise I enjoyed the book and it is just what I have come to expect and love from a Meredith Potts cozy mystery a simple light hearted mystery with lots of cakes.
When Melody receives a note claiming she has destroyed someone's life and she will pay she has no clue who is behind the threat. Every instinct tells her she should take it seriously but with no clues to follow up on, this case sees her seeking out help from a psychic. Will this lead her to solving this case?
Treats, Threats, and Tawdry Truths
This is a quick listen where the main character needs a bit of luck so solve a very difficult and trying case, well okay they know who did it and just need to catch him. No complicated plot where you lose track of who everybody body is. I did wish it could have been a bit longer so we could have found out why Melody Clue was getting death threats in the first place (I think i.learnt more reading the blurb than from the story) and I would have liked to have learnt more about the characters and less out about why it was such hard week without actually saying why but other than that it was fun.
Waiting to hear that her boyfriend Scott has arrested the man that has been terrorising her, Melody is surprised to hear the news when it arrives. This sends her world spiralling, can Melody and Scott put there life back to normal by catching a killer
Private Eye and a Craving for Pie
This book would be great for a younger reader or listener as there is no murder, swearing or sex scenes and it is short.
Melody Clue hates cheating spouse cases especially as she found her boyfriend cheating on her so when she gets two back to back case she hopes she doesn't have to empty the ice cream tub to much. Will her investigation end in tears or is the fears or cheating unfounded?
I liked the narrator as she brought life to the stories.

Dessert, Destiny and Death
Melody has a really hard case this time and will bring in the help of her boyfriend and the rest of the police force. The emotions are high for Melody as they race to solve this case, with some chocolate on the side.
Treats, Threats And Tawdry Truths
Melody and Scott have their work cut out for them this time. Such a fun listen as they solve an intense case.
Private Eye and a Craving for Pie
I just love Melody Clue. She always give me an entertaining time and keeps me wanting for more when it’s done. Great characters and always a happy for now ending.

Awesome
I really loved this book. Great storyline and amazing characters. I highly recommend this series. A really good set.
