About this listen
From USA Today best-selling author Willow Winters comes a heart-wrenching, edge-of-your-seat, gripping romantic suspense.
I should’ve known she would ruin me the moment I saw her. Women like her are made to destroy men like me. I couldn’t resist her though. Given to me to start a war; I was too eager to accept. But I didn’t know what she’d do to me. That she would change everything.
She sees through me in a way no one else ever has. Her innocence and vulnerability make me weak for her, and I hate it.
I know better than to give in to temptation. A ruthless man doesn’t let a soul close to him. A cold-hearted man doesn’t risk anything for anyone. A powerful man with a beautiful woman at his mercy...he doesn’t fall for her.

Willow create pure magic with Merciless
I fell in love with Willow Winters and her incredible book world when I first read this book.
I didn’t get into audio books until recently and this audio book hasn’t disappointed in any way. In fact it adds to the story, it really hot home with the high impact needed for such a powerful book!
Carter Cross is the eldest of the Cross brothers, who took on the role of looking after his younger brothers, and he’s given Mafia alphas a whole new look!
Everything about screams power, control, dark and dangerous and he’s so damn sexy too.
Aria, daughter of a rival mafia outfit, is his bargaining pawn who becomes his possession ... only she was always meant to be his...
I know the full score in the upcoming series but I’m definitely listening to them in audio too!!
Jacob Morgan and Savannah Peachwood are sensational as the lead characters. I especially love Savannah’s voice- she’s exactly the voice I imaged for Aria when I first read the book version.
I recommend this audio and this series! It’s unforgettable in the best way!

One to get your teeth into!
Merciless is the first in the series and it sets you off with a great start into their world. It’s gritty and can be raw to read/listen to at times due to the superb way Willow Winters portrays the scenes and characters. When you find yourself at the end of this book you’ll be craving to get to the next in the series Heartless.

Horrible story
This is a story of a girl who is mentally abuse and gets kidnapped and further mentally and physically abused and tortured. Carter, her kidnapper, brainwashes her and gets her to kill her mother’s murderer. I was very disappointed she did not kill Carter. Awful story. Do not waste your time reading this.

Disappointed!
I expect more from Carter Cross' story, especially after being introduced to the series by Jase' s story.
In my opinion the characters progression was daunting and dull, even in the peak moments.
I'm still debating whether to give the second book of Carter's story a try just see if I misjudged. It's obviously that Winter grew as a writer from Carter's book to Jase's however, I found certain points repeated in both brother's stories that I found unimaginative.
Jacob Morgan's voice doh 😍!
