About this listen
Megadeth grew from the sacking of Dave Mustaine from Metallica at the end of 1982. Dave was always incredibly outspoken - almost to the point of self destruction. Of Metallica he raged, " I love Metallica's music, but I hate Lars and the super pretentious James Hetfield."
You can say what you like about Dave Mustaine and his Megadeth pals, but when it boils down to song writing and turning out superbly produced albums, there are few to touch them.
This is not an artist or record company approved music release and sound quality may vary. Dave Ellefson talks freely about Mustain's struggle with booze and his superb writing technique.

Megadeth: A Rockview Audiobiography is the story of two Daves. Educated rock fans will appreciate this brief and candid audiobiography of Megadeth, the famed thrash metal band. Fired from mythic heavy metal band Metallica, guitarist Dave Mustaine joined bassist Dave Ellefson to found Megadeth in 1983, their goal being to utterly outrock Metallica. Ultimately both bands were seminal in legitimizing and patterning thrash metal. The outspoken Mustaine and the more measured Ellefson discuss the band, the players, and the legacy. Rock journalist and heavy metal connoisseur Chris Tetle brings you this lively testament to deliberate noise.
