Charge up your memory now!

This is well worth the time and money . The audio is stuffed full of excellent advice - some known already but usefully reiterated and explained , and much that will be new. The tone is a bit playschool at times and mildly irritating in that Donna Cercone appears at times to have a chip on her shoulder / very insecure . However that aside her thinking is sound, well explained in lay mans terms, practical and really genuinely effective . Learn the 12 types of intelligence/ learn bodily posturing to stimulate right- left brain interaction and a great deal more. It is a life changing book. Over 2 months I have developed a definite and reliable photographic memory I am making great use of for exam revision . Her methods really work. Her combination will really set you up well at whatever stage of life or enhanced effectiveness in learning.

Learning is communion with life

Don't waste your money or hours

Complete rubbish from start to finish. I've never wasted my time so spectacularly. incredibly patronising with constant generalisations.

Hard going and needs updating

I had high hopes for this audio book, maybe to high.
The book starts off quite well but you need to listen to the last chapter to make any sense of it, which I did not realise until the end as the last chapter is the bonus CD or tape as it is referred to.
There is some good Advice in the book but it does come across as if the information has been researched by Donna from reading a few books and this is her take on it, because what she has learned appears to work for her students but even then when you try and open your mind to the learning it is quickly shut again by all the unnecessary stories that are told about her students that most of the time add little or nothing to the book, and Donna's Winston Churchill type speeches with Mozart playing in the back ground only serve to irritate rather then motivate.
This really is nothing more then a autobiography of a bad music teacher who has made some really bad mistakes with her approach to teaching students and how she over came them to be a good teacher.
