Summary
Audi narrator Carly Houston brings a beautiful own voice representation of Zoe to Meet me in Tahiti.
Carly is best known for playing Annette in CripTales (BBC). She has also appeared in numerous feature films including Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Crossing Over and The Journey.
Meet me in Tahiti is her first audiobook.
‘If a romantic fiction novel could give you an injection of Toff-like empowerment, this is it…Tackling important issues, ensuring representation and writing strong heroines that are in control of their own narrative and sexuality. In short, a must read.’ Marie Claire
'A book with a huge heart, a dreamy location and a fabulous heroine, Meet Me in Tahiti is the very definition of romance. Sweet, funny and full of zest for life – I adored it!'
Veronica HenrySunday Times Bestselling author of A Wedding at the Beach Hut
Where there’s always a second chance at first love…
Zoe has spent her life facing battles: fighting her parents for independence, struggling with her feelings for local bad boy Finn and, after a car accident at eighteen, adjusting to the fact she would not walk again. She remained strong until the day Finn, the person she thought she could trust, broke her heart… Now a successful travel writer, Zoe is excited to review a new luxury hotel in the beautiful South Pacific – until she meets its owner…
Finn was never good enough for Zoe. He knew it. Zoe’s family knew it. The village of Hawkes Cove made sure he knew it. Proven when he let her down in the worst way possible. Now a successful businessman, he thought his past was behind him, until a journalist turns up to review his new resort…
As Finn shows Zoe the exotic wonders of the islands both face the fact their shared past might just be the beginning of a future. But only if Zoe can win the biggest battle of her life…facing up to her heart’s desire.

Narration issues
I'm so so disappointed I can't work out if there is an issue with the audio recording or if it's the narrator. I just can't really understand anything that's being said I go back re-listen but still just can't really grasp what she's trying to say. I'm absolutely gutted I loved the first 2 books and couldn't wait to hear the next adventure. I'm 2 chapters in now and just can't continue with it. It's such a shame - if anyone at audible, the publisher or Toff herself reads this please can you re-record it with a new narrator.

Terrible narration! Therefore waste of money as audiobook
I am gutted to agree with rest of the reviews!
Enjoyed previous two books so was excited about this one…but the narrator is dreadful! Absolutely impossible to follow the story or understand what exactly is being said…also it is so monotone that it makes me sleepy…feels like I am listening to some really boring lecture!
Didn’t manage to finish so cannot comment on the story…will have to repurchase in kindle version!

Disappointed!
I love Toff and was very much looking forward to this book !
I may need to read the paperback version as unfortunately I didn’t get past the first chapter- the narrator is awful ! Very monotone, word errors and doesn’t make the story appealing at all !
Was this even listened to and edited before release ?

Great story
I’m sorry to say that the narration on this audiobook was hard to listen to. I found it very difficult to follow the story.
I’m grateful that I had also bought this book on kindle so could read it for myself and from that I can say I loved the story.

Shocking audio quality
Such a shame - I have had this on pre order and was so looking forward to listening. Sadly the audio is shocking, I tried to perceiver but it’s actually unbearable to listen too. I have tried to re download and makes no difference.
Why change the narrator? Toff was great.

Appalling narration, worst ever
I love Toff & loved her other books, I couldn’t wait to listen to this book, I could not listen after the first few sentence, who on earth is this person narrating? , absolutely dreadful, Toff, please do your own narration I love the tone of your voice, the person reading this is dreadful, I could properly rate the story because I haven’t heard it, it wouldn’t let me leave my review without rating the story, sorry 😥
