About this listen
Goodbye to the boyfriend who never had her back, and so long to the job she can’t stand!
Except it’s all a bit too good to be true…
When Regan gets pranked, she finds herself jobless, homeless and boyfriendless in one fell swoop.
Luckily her friendly seaside community provides a beacon of hope, proving to Regan that sometimes you really can rely on the kindness of others – and one local in particular, a handsome fireman called Charlie, helps Regan realise that this could be her chance for a fresh start.
Armed with a list of ways to change her life, Regan decides it’s time to step out of her comfort zone. Because – as Charlie knows all too well – life is for living . . .
A feel-good summer read, perfect for fans of Jill Mansell, Veronica Henry and Cressida McLaughlin.

A very easy read
My first adventure into audio books and this was gripping. Highly recommended - going to see if the author has any other books

Not her best work
I had really looked forward to this book, having loved Bella Osborne’s precious novels, but I was sorely disappointed. The main characters had either practically no redeeming features or were absolutely too goody-goody. The only one I wanted to know more about was the best friend - and she was a very small part of the book as a whole.
It got better after about 2/3, but I would not really recommend this to anyone.
Her other novels are great, though!

A good read
It was a bit slow at the beginning but the story had me hooked with all its twist and turns.

Sorry to say but save your audible credit
It's such a shame I have loved all the other Bella Osborne books but just couldn't finish this one.
Story line so slow doesn't really go anywhere, completely unrelatable, extremely unrealistic (yes all books are an escape but this was something else) and a depressing story line. Kept waiting for something good to happen to hook me in to the end but ended up giving up after 3/4 as I just couldn't do anymore.
It wouldn't put me off Bella's books in the future as she is a great author but this was just not for me.

After buying this book I read the previous review and totally agree with them. I really disliked the main character who is just selfish and juvenile from beginning to end. I have read Bella Osborne's other books and enjoyed the characters and storyline but this was just dreadful.
