Listen to this!

David Sedaris leads a funny old life writes it down then reads it. There’s something comforting to hear him tell you how it happened in his own words. A great book recommended

David sedaris

From the time I first heard David Sedaris, I couldn't wait until his next tale, of family, friends and his life..from the laugh out loud to the touching moments, thoroughly enjoy every moment, won't stop until I have his whole collection, wonderfully written and wonderfully read.

Sedaris is a man made from funny bones

Inappropriate, at times shockingly so, Sadaris is going to entertain you. I have bought all 5 in the series and have loved them all. He is a funny man,who enjoys sharing his very funny stories.

Perfect, but not long enough!

Maybe like other listeners, my 1 monthly credit is precious. To use it on just under 2 hours of entertainment is a difficult choice to make. Whilst I absolutely loved this book/narration I felt it was over before it began. Please Audible, at least create a download which gives value for money.

I agree . Perfect but too short

I have heard various episodes of Meet David sedaris over the past few years while travelling and tuning into radio 4. Each time I have promised myself that I would make the effort to seek out and listen to more or all if possible. I was frustrated when the BBC player failed to throw up a back catalogue that I could listen to and am now delighted to find these stories in this format of easy listening on audible . Unfortunately I do find it annoying that I have to pay a whole credit for a 2 hour listen when I can use a credit to buy a book that can last me up to a month of listening to whilst driving to and from work . But I just can’t resist buying more to keep laughing with David Sedaris at humanity’s crazy querks that seem to resonate deeply with my experiences as a human.

Funny, light, well observed

Every bit as funny as expected. Just so good. I couldn't stop listening to it, twice, in one sitting.

He is just brilliant

David Sedaris has become a constant companion throughout lockdown. Even though I already know all the stories, I never tire of hearing him narrate them, he is just brilliant.
