About this listen
Thanksgiving is in the Bible Belt, and Danny works down the aisle at a local grocery store.
There's a joke, he's just too tired to find it.
Danny's 25, listless, boring, and vegetarian. He hates his job at the market, but he has no other plan and no real desire to find a plan, so he will continue to shave turkey and make pasta salads.
Callum, on the other hand, is made almost exclusively by plans. It has three planners, a Color-aligned Google Calendar, and a plan of three, five, and ten years - all of which, by the way, are all on the right track.
When Callum unexpectedly gets fired from a high corporate job, he has no choice but to return to his hometown for the holidays. In charge of preparing a Thanksgiving meal, and has never made anything more complicated than booking, Callum has a hell of a grocery shopping time it's not relieved by the grumpy twenty-something that refuses to answer his questions about how to refill a turkey.
When Danny's parents mistake Callum for his boyfriend, Danny and Callum are faced with an option: clear up a humiliating misconception or let it play out so they both look a little less pathetic for the holidays.
Callum led board meetings, screaming executives and a rigorous 50-hour workweek on top of the master's program. Danny ran belligerent customers, PETA activists and an underpaid, overpowering manager. Neither of them are ready for each other.
