About this listen
Beloved author Kasie West brings her signature witty banter and rom-com fun to a bold, fresh format. Think Four Weddings and a Funeral for YA.
One year. Eight events.
Eight chances to...fall in love?
Sophie works for the local florist, so she's part of every big event in her small hometown, delivering flowers and making sure things run smoothly (which they almost never do). This year, Sophie has tons of events to get through - including a wedding, a funeral, a Valentine's Day party, a Fourth of July cookout, Thanksgiving, and a New Year's Eve bash. And at each event, she runs into Andrew, the distractingly cute - and annoyingly pompous - guy working for the local caterer. As Sophie and Andrew deal with last-minute food disasters, romantic dramas, uninvited guests, and family feuds, they find themselves thrown together amid the chaos.
Told over the course of one year, this adorable love story will be a new favorite from master of the rom-com Kasie West.

Super cute
This was super cute, which was a surprise. This I’d the first book by Casey West that I 30 enjoyed. Sophie and Andrew have great chemistry. Would recommend this book; especially to anyone, who loves a cute contemporary!!

One Flower Crown
This was so cute! Now one of my favourite of Kasie West's books. The book is separated into parts, taking place over the course of a year, each one marked by a different event that our florist narrator, Sophie, works for. This worked so well; there was no pacing issues and no filler chapters.
Sophie's relationships with Andrew, her best friend, Micah, and her family were heart-warming and the characters' development had a great pay off.
I really liked the narrator too and I thought her voice matched the text perfectly. If you're looking for a light, cute read definitely give this a try.
