About this listen

The electrifying sequel to Martina Cole's Dangerous Lady combines emotional drama and shocking realism. Maura Ryan was the queen of the criminal underworld when she pulled off the most audacious gold bullion robbery of all time. Since then she's retired from a life of crime to be with the only man she's ever loved. But enemies from her past are closing in and they're about to learn that they should never cross Maura Ryan. The dangerous lady is back and she's as lethal as ever....

Maura's Game is an explosive novel of East End violence and corruption from one of the most original voices in fiction today. Martina Cole's unique blend of emotional drama and shocking realism combine in this electrifying new best seller.

Totally compelling

I have a whole collection of paperbacks by Martina Cole. This is the third that I have listened to in audiobook format. Just wow. I had forgotten many plot points, but the head in the wardrobe has definitely always stayed with me. Awesome characters and story.

Maura’s Game. Brilliant

I really like this story because the plot was easy to follow yet you didn’t really know what was coming next. I am just addicted to Martina Coles books another 10 out of 10.

thoroughly enjoyed this.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Gripping storyline as ever from Martina Cole. The Ryans are one hell of a family and in this Maura has her hands full keeping her brother and Mother under control! The narrator was excellent.

A brilliant sequel

What can you say about Martina Cole? Write such believable characters, strong women and always a cracking storyline. This is no different…
And there is not a better narrator that Annie. She is superb

Outstanding

I am totally hooked on all things written by this author. She never disappoints and has me gripped in such stories I never thought I would read. Absolutely superbly written and narrated. Annie Aldington brings these books to life and is the perfect narrator for Matina's work.

sequel to Dangerous Woman

Unexpected twists and turns, well written and narrated, I personally enjoyed the first book more but it was interesting to know what happened next.
