About this listen
Eight young women are abducted by aliens from college. I'm one of them! I wake from my abduction while being separated from my friends. Sore and groggy, I'm tied to a bed before I realize what's going on. As the circumstances start to sink in, I fight until I hear a roar of rage.
At first, my rescuer scares me as much as my captors, but when I realize he's helping, he becomes my new best friend.
Matthias's Miracle is the sequel to Bren's Blessing, the first book in the Quasar Lineage. You don't have to listen to Bren's Blessing in order to understand the plot, but the story will be more well rounded if you do. It's part of a science fiction romance series but can be listened to as a stand-alone story with no cliff-hangers!
Warning: This sci-fi romance alien book contains adult language and steamy adult bedroom scenes. It is intended for listeners 18 and above only.

I love these characters
Wow, Kelsey and Randi bring these characters alive so very well. The book is written very well and enhanced by the fantastic narration. It’s great seeing a vulnerability in the male leads.

Looking Forward to More

Genre: SciFi Alien Romance, suspense
Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: Book 2 of The Quasar Lineage

4/5
While technically a standalone I would highly recommend reading Book 1: Bren's Blessing first. In Bren's Blessing you find out more about this world and their society's makeup. Matthias's Miracle was a lot of fun and sets up at least three sequels, leaves some questions unanswered and sets up some possible significant societal changes in the future. I look forward to reading more of this series.

solid sequel... but not as good as the first book
I strongly recommend reading the series in order. This is the second book and while it may technically standalone, many things would be appearing from thin air if you hadn’t read the first book. Like many sequels, it builds on the world created in the first book, and while it has new characters and a self-contained plot, it basically advances the story arc of the series. This book isn’t as engaging in terms of the characters, or the challenges they face. It’s also less erotica than the previous book. (Which suited me fine, but surprised me a bit. ) The narrators did a great job. Well paced, and appropriate voice to suit the characters. The overlapping scenes are a bit repetitive but there is much less overlap than in the earlier book. I received this audiobook for free in exchange for a review.

Excellent Second Book!
Book: Matthias’s Miracle (book2)
Author: Pearl Tate
Narrator(s): Randi Johnson, Kelsey Navarro
Did the Audiobook meet your expectations?
Another excellent story by Pearl Tate and the second book in The Quasar Lineage series.
How did the story make you feel?
This book (like the first) is steamy, intriguing and a fun adventure.
Did the narrator make it easy to follow the story? Did you find the narrator’s voice fitting for the main protagonists(s)?
Randi and Kelsey have delivered another great story with a dual narration. Having the 2 narrators have made this story very easy to understand.
Do you recommend this audiobook and will you pick up more?
Yes this series just gets better with each book. I am excited to hear more from this series
I do suggest listening to them in the correct order as they build on from the previous book. I like the face that this book is now setting you up to hear about more of the women who have been stolen from earth and although you know who will be mated you don’t know their whole story yet!
I was gifted this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Smokin hot!
Well narrated....the man has such a cool deep voice. I suppose these books let every woman live the dream of a man who is completely devoted to you and destiny....as well as being well hot....phew, thermometer through the roof.
Must read third book now... oh my word....

A brilliant second book in the series
This book was much better than the first one in my opinion. We'd already met Matthias in the first book and so knew he had a mate out there that he was going to look for.
Without revealing too many spoilers i thought there was a lot more to this story than the last one. Susan has a interesting backstory which mean Matthias has to go slow with her.
The story had a much better plot and substance to it. The narrator's are brilliant and this series is the first time I have heard two narrators working in close harmony with each other so that female characters are spoken by a female etc compared to most book where even if there are two narrators, they each do per chapter so they still have have to do both male and female voices. I actually prefer it this way.
The book is also very different as normally it's the females having to submit in a male dominated society, this is the first book I have read that it's the males having to submit in a female dominated world. It does set up the series well with a number of woman who were abducted.

I’m Loving This Series!
Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️.5
Heat Rating: 🔥🔥🔥
Narrator Performance: Female: 🎧🎧🎧🎧.5 Male: 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧
This story starts two weeks after book one ends and it’s a bit less steamy. However that doesn’t keep the reader from connecting with the characters. There’s more action in this book as the women of Quasar are starting to get desperate and more devious. I really liked those parts.
With this addition to the series the reader can see a bit of a series arc forming. I think this book easily stands on it’s own though. It looks as if there might be a civil war brewing on Quasar. With all these mates appearing the way of life on the planet is changing.
I find Tate’s world building super interesting. She’s very thorough and her scenes vivid. I love the way that she’s flipped the gender roles and shows that women can be corrupt rulers as well.
I’m loving this series! Pearl Tate is simply bursting with talent! Do yourself a favor and give her work a try.
Johnson totally knocked it out of the park with his performance. Every character had their own voice and I knew exactly who was speaking before their names were stated. Navarro too did an excellent job with the narration. I just wish that she used multiple voices for the female characters as there wasn’t a noticeable difference between them.

Sweet and sexy alien abduction romance
I loved the escapism in this feel good alien romance. Great dual narration from two POV really makes this book a pleasure to listen to. This is the second book in the Quasar Lineage. Bren's Blessing sets up the action for this story. When Matthias, Bren's brother, develops faint mating marks on his skin he is allowed 6 months grace from the bondage of his harem. Quasar is a matriarchal society. Quasar females keep male harems for procreational purpose; the males need to be stimulated by a drug to perform. Matthias's miracle is finding his fated mate, Susan. Fated mates were thought to be extinct, natural mating having been bred out by genetic manipulation. Matthias is drawn across the galaxy to a prison planet. It here that he discovers Susan and rescues her from a rapist. Susan and her seven study group friends have been abducted from Earth and delivered by an unmanned shuttle that crashed onto the prison planet. There are mysteries to be unravelled and there are more stories to come. Definitely for adult audience that enjoys consensual erotica.
