About this listen
Andrew Aziz describes technology, strategy, and psychology as the three essential pillars of successful trading, and he knows that the psychological aspects of trading are the most likely to be underestimated or even ignored. He wrote Mastering Trading Psychology to help traders enhance their understanding of this crucial pillar of trading and to strengthen their "mental skills" in order to maximize their performance.
This practical and highly entertaining book takes its listeners inside the minds of ordinary retail traders who contributed more than 175 accounts of their successes, their failures, their joys, their struggles, and, most of all, what they have learned as traders. Some are experienced, but many are relative beginners. They represent an intriguing diversity in terms of where they live, their ages, their levels of education, their everyday jobs, and how they tell their stories. All are members of Andrew's trading community, and their enthusiastic response to his invitation to share their experiences and insights was overwhelming. Complemented by Andrew's explanatory text, the stories are told in the contributors' own words, minimally edited for length, clarity, and privacy.

Great audio book on day trading!
Having read the two previous books by Andrew Aziz, I thought I would give the audio book on mastering trading psychology a go. The book is great, giving you an insight into the experiences of normal every day retail traders helping you to learn from what works for them but more importantly their mistakes. The narrator is very good and there is only a couple graphs/figures to refer to which are easily referenced and found on the bearbulltrader website. Would highly recommend.

Worth a listen
Some good advice, but those who don't like to be told to go vegetarian/ vegan (like me) can skip the whole of Chapter 8, which is more a diatribe against meat. Guys lay off the agenda. Loses a star because of this.

You won’t be successful until you master your psychology
This book is well written and entertaining in some parts listening to first hand experiences of some novice traders.
The hardest part of becoming a successful trader isn’t the strategies but mastering your own thoughts and impulses. This book really helps you to become aware of your thoughts and provides really constructive tips on how to overcome them the impulses and behaviours that take us from being lucky to consistently profitable.

Excellent, inspirational!!
I’ve been trading for 20+ years. This book really honed in on the holistic aspects that are so important for mastering trading psychology. I’m inspired and motivated after listening to it. Thanks Andrew and Mike for a really great book!

Some good content but overlong and disorganised
I listened to this after 'Day Trading for Beginners'. It's not a bad follow up, but it does repeat some of the content. The structure of the book seems a little disorganised, with tidbits of information that would seem better collected into properly themed chapters. I would also say it's a bit overlong, and could be cut down by around 25-30%. Nevertheless, it was worthwhile overall.

From Traders to Traders
Really like the approach of going through real traders real experiences and how they've coped with the issues and then goin a bit deeper in to the issue in general.
Easy to listen, informative and in away entertaining due to the real life stories.

It is an ok book for complete beginners, probably a good starting book.
The book is a collection of testimonials and opinions. Yes it does talk about good concepts about the psychology of trading. However, they are merely a rephrasing of the concepts in the book 'Trading in the Zone' by Mark Douglas. Although not a technical book, it does also talk about technical principles which are pushed as universal truth. However they are merely opinions. Trading successfully is art and passion, and it requires an enormous amount of dedication. One really needs to get to know the markets, make a lot of mistakes and than choose what works best. Books can be helpful but also very misleading.
