An interesting story
I received a free copy of this audiobook in return for an honest review.
Having listened to and read a lot of fantasy books, it's interesting to find one with a new ideas. There was a lot of information given initially and it took me a while to really get into the story, but once I did I found it absorbing and was keen to keep listening and find out what happened next. The narration was good, but perhaps a bit monotone, it lacked a bit of colour. Overall an interesting and enjoyable story though and worth listening to.

fairy tale
fairy tale not exactly, when Emily is enlisted to pretend to be her sister (so everything doesn't go south) . check this first in series out.

Intriguing
Intriguing beginning starting with lots of questions leaving you riveted and wanting to know more.
This is a fantastical supernatural story, Emily is an fascinating young adult thrown into a world she had no previous knowledge of to save a sister she does not know.

Interesting take on fantasy
I enjoyed this book. This book had everything you expect in a good fantasy novel. A normal girl comes face to face with a not so normal world. She learns she is not normal. There’s a love triangle a power grab betrayal etc.
I really like the world creation and look forward to more!

good story
This was a good story but is a slow listen, I'm not a fan of the narration but thats a personal preference. I look forward to reading more from the author.
